Happy 4th of July

We spent the day today at Strawberry Banke in Portsmouth. It's a historic area preserved with the original homes and buildings dating back to the 1700's. The kids had fun making crafts, listening to a band, checking out the horses, and blowing bubbles! We were going to see the fireworks tonight in Durham, but the rain has cancelled them. We are actually watching fireworks out our back window from somebody in the neighbourhood right now.... the rain didn't shut everybody down.
Finally got David's battery charged on his little 4-wheeler - he really had fun on it, but wished it went a little faster. Little sis had to try on the helmet for size...
