Christmas Holidays

What a fun Christmas vacation we had in Canada! Our week home flew by fast (even though mom thoroughly enjoyed doing nothing!) The kids couldn't get enough of sledding, four-wheeler rides, feeding the cats & dog, listening to Grandpa play the accordian and getting undivided attention from devoted Grandparents! It was special to spend time with most of my family... we missed Rachel...  but happy to see Jackie & Graham who flew in from Nova Scotia! Here are some snapshots from the week in Ontario... in backwards order - again - I'll get it all figured out one day!

December Fun

Here are a few shots from some of the fun times we had in December...  I brought some cupcakes into Bella's class before the beginning of the school holiday break... she was most excited about the principle coming into the class to acknowledge her birthday and receive her birthday pencil from him!

Bella pleased as punch to celebrate her birthday at school (a little ahead of time)
Getting her birthday certificate & pencil from the principle
It was jammy day that day...
I'm sure you've seen many ice storm photos from the Northeast ice storm in December. We were one of the lucky ones, and only lost power for 3 1/2 days... we got our generator the day our power came back on... we are ready now!!
