Niagara Falls

This week we took a quick trip to Niagara Falls, Ontario with some of our new friends from NH - Kevin & Jody. We left the kids - for the first time - with a family for a couple of nights and spent Tuesday & Wednesday touring Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake and a quick drive-by of our old home in Welland. The main purpose was to dine at our favourite restaurant Zest in Fonthill... yummy as always. Niagara-on-the-Lake offered some shopping and a tour of a vineyard. We had a great little getaway together! My apologies to all - including my sister! - whom we didn't see on this short trip... we'll be back!

Oh, and Kate started to sing 'twinkle twinkle little star' today! It's very cute - Grandma can verify as she heard her over the phone - her favorite part is "uh-hov oo eye" (translates to 'up above the world so high'). She is talking more & more every day. I got the biggest welcome from her when we got home from Niagara Falls... it was squeeling and hi's and hugs and more squeeling... I swear I'll never leave her again!

It was 'cold' to say the least.... so we didn't stand and admire the falls for too long!
Flying in style on JetBlue :) ...what else could I say?
