Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow....

While the weather outside was frightful for awhile, we certainly enjoyed making the most of the day today playing in the snow. With the weather warning us of a 'severe winter storm', we probably ended up with about 6 inches of the white stuff. It put us in the mood for skating and sleighing! We went to Exeter for a public skate for a good hour or more, and Bella was excited to practice her twirling and spining and... opps, she made a start at just keeping upright! She ended up doing pretty good and with a few more trips to the arena, she'll be doing those spins after all. David actually got on the ice this year and enjoyed it... his first time was a success! Kate was anxious to try the ice too, but learned pretty quick that ice=slippery.

After skating we came home to play in the snow. Brian & Lindi came over and we all had fun playing outside making snowmen, snow angels and sleighing.

or else they get a horse ride on daddy... Kate & Bella are dressed up as princesses (Bella doesn't seem as excited about the ride as Kate is!)
